Alternate Title: The Most Ungraceful End

Last time we left off, Volume 9 had finally decided to stop playing around and just become flat-out unpleasant. Let's see if we can somehow top it in the volume's last two episodes.
The filler ends, clinging to a dim hope of a tenth season )

Alternate Title: Rooster Teeth Play Their Hand

We are now halfway through the season as of this episode. I haven’t even started writing this and I already have a headache.

Last time...god, what the fuck happened last time? Oh, right, uh, acid trip character “development”. Well, let’s get into it.

I don't appreciate feeling used. )

With this post, Volume 8 will be finished. All that will be left will be to do the Final Thoughts and Volume 9… However! There’s also my own advisory, which is that this post contains mentions and descriptions of violence and gore. Please be warned.

Also, this is one of my most image-heavy posts ever, since it’s a finale that’s, well…a nonstop mess. Constant action it would be a disservice to not relay to you—resulting in a post layered with over 50 of the fucking things. So here's a gif-less, text-only version for viewing accessibility.

Well. Let’s do this. There’s another epilepsy warning in front of this one.

I don't think I've ever been quite so disgusted with a show. )

Somehow, Salem has been defeated, but we still have four more episodes. Well, she’s not dead, but her whole operation literally got blown to smithereens. And it will not be the last thing. We are again keeping the blue text because I am that maddeningly furious with what’s going on here.

Oh sure, let's just break ALL the rules! )

Alternate Title: The Train Crash Continues

*muffled, behind a veil* The text is staying blue because I’m that pissed off. You just couldn’t fucking let it be, could you? You had to kill him off. I wasn’t even that into him as a character, but by god, you’d better believe I am ready to unleash unholy fury now.

We are still on the twelfth episode of Volume 7, “With Friends Like These”. Qrow has to choose between chasing Tyrian or being with Clover in his dying moments.

The level of spite I have for this is only outmatched by the spite Miles Luna had when writing it. )

Last time, MKG made it clear that annoying someone stronger than you makes it your fault if they kill off your entire species, and made Ozpin into a rapist. This one's got eye-related violence and gore in it.

The good news is that we are entering the short stretch of Volume 6 Episodes that some people actually tend to consider good.

Don't worry, it doesn't last. )

Alternate Title: That one. The one I warned you about.

Please be warned that this episode involves a rape, an in-depth discussion of that rape, and a bunch of other completely unpleasant shit including child abuse, child death, suicide attempts...it's real bad.

I have no mouth and I must scream )

Well, here we are, guys. The last episode of RWBY Volume 9, and if I'm reading the signals right, very likely the last episode of RWBY as a whole. There's certainly been enough crying about the budget from RT's side.

When we last left off, we had Ruby Rose's suicide attempt swept under the rug and dressed up to be a magical metamorphosis of personal change that only she gets to decide on, rather than something she was tortured into doing. Yanno, normal stuff.

A disappointing end to a disappointing volume, and beyond. )

Sweep anything else under that rug and it'll just be wearing the rug. )

Last time, we left off on some very unpleasant notes. Sun was the latest love interest to get smacked up, Qrow has slipped further into scorpionism, and the backstory episode concluded with what seems to be a very vicious Grimm heading for Jaune and Ruby.

Let’s get back into it.

BOING! )

The very, definitively, absolutely final word on Persona 3. You can skip to the end if you want some info on my upcoming projects, too.

Gonna need some palette-cleansers after this one... )

Welcome to the Final Thoughts of Persona 3 Portable--right on time for the internet to go abuzz with rumors of yet another fucking remake of this stupid-ass game. What would this one be, the third one? Will it ever truly die and be allowed to rest?

Well, before we get into that, we do actually have one more thing we need to do...

Please... Not again... Let it stay dead... )
