Many other sporks, such as the ones on Das-Sporking, are very nitpicky. I've seen people complain that a main character was a jerk sometimes (like, the character wasn't supposed to be in the right; they were a teenage girl), and I've seen people complain about things if they aren't explicitly spelled out. I feel like, as you said in this post, a lot of fans and antis of things are lacking in meta-analysis. Things aren't always surface level, and many things are a delibrate choice.
But this spork wasn't like that. Your counts were backed up by what I could see happen in the show, you know about subtext, etc.
