RWBY Volume 9 is coming, but first...
Jan. 24th, 2023 04:09 pmWe're gonna skip the trailer and just get to the big news: money.
Rooster Teeth, who used to deliver RWBY free on Youtube, then switched to one day after for free viewers, then one week after for free viewers, to Rooster Teeth website-only and a week after for free viewers...
To Crunchyroll only and if you want it, you better pay or wait a year.

Oh, you want to know how this is going down, right? Of course we're gonna pirate it. And the bleating won't stop us.

Got some choice quotes in here.
"Pirating RWBY hurts us in so many ways and has a direct impact on the content and CRWBY."
You know what also hurts the content and CRWBY? Crunching the living hell out of them, abusing them, not paying them--fuck it, let's not even get into it, it's too big a list at this point.

"THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU READ TODAY" yeah, but only because I'm off work and haven't done my taxes yet...
"I cannot stress this enough: RWBY lives and dies by how it is monetized by you, our fans."
Well, I guess it's time to press down on the pillow, then, isn't it? The goal you set was apparently to kill this show dead in the water given how Volume 8 went, so I don't see why I shouldn't follow suit.
You guys dug this hole yourselves. I'm looking forward to RWBY Volume 9, which is only 10 episodes by the way, being the show's last.
